Simulated panels. Cash rides on the Buy label instead of a balance card.
A pencil on the trading panel
The settings that actually change mid-session are your buy presets, your sell percents, and your costs. Everything else you configure once and forget. Yet changing any of them meant leaving the chart — opening the dashboard, or at best the popup.
The ✎ in the panel header now opens a compact inline editor right on the trading tab: buy presets, sell percents, and fee / gas / tip / slippage. You are still looking at the candle while you retune.
Your costs also ride visibly under the buy row as Fee / Gas / Tip / Slip chips, click-to-edit, in both modes. Costs only teach you something if you can see them — a fee model buried three screens away is a fee model you forget is on.
The inline editor uses the same validation rulebook as the dashboard and the popup. A bad value keeps your saved value and says so — identically, wherever you typed it.
Three surfaces editing the same settings is three chances to disagree about what a valid number is. They share one implementation instead.
Focus mode is genuinely Axiom-compact now
Focus mode has existed since v1.2.15, requested by someone who wanted the panel to feel like the terminals they already used. It stripped decoration — but it was still visibly a PaperTrench panel wearing a smaller coat, and it was still taller than the thing it was imitating.
Two changes close the gap:
- No balance card. Your cash rides inline on the Buy label, refreshed on every fill. It was never worth a whole card — you need the number, not a panel about the number.
- While one-tap presets are on, the big BUY button gets out of the way. The preset chips are the buttons, and Enter in the amount box buys.
A button whose only job is to confirm a decision you already made with the previous click is a button in the way.
Turn instant-buy off and the button comes back, because then it is doing real work. The layout follows the mode instead of being one compromise for both.
Why this is a release and not a tweak
Neither of these is a new capability. Every setting was already editable and focus mode already existed. What changed is the distance between a decision and the control that acts on it — and in this market that distance is the feature.
It is also the second round of feedback from the same person, shipped the same day. Most of the archive looks like that.
